AC, Furnace & HVAC Repair in Schaumburg, IL

AC repair in Schaumburg townhomes, condos and houses

SAVA HVAC & Appliance Repair repairs air conditioning in Schaumburg's townhome and condo communities as well as its single-family neighborhoods. We are family-owned, in business since 2017, and travel about sixteen miles west from 6502 W Devon Ave in Chicago to ZIP 60173, 60193 and 60194. The work covers in-unit air handlers, dedicated condensers on shared pads or balconies, central air and ductless mini-splits, and it is done by EPA Section 608 Certified technicians. You pay for a service call that starts from $79 and comes with a 30-minute diagnostic; that $79 is credited toward the repair, which is priced before it starts. Schaumburg appointments are booked Monday through Saturday between 8 AM and 6 PM. The emergency line, (773) 558-3332, is answered 24/7.

Why Schaumburg systems fail in waves

Schaumburg has one of the largest townhome and condominium inventories in the northwest suburbs alongside its 1970s–90s single-family neighborhoods. Builder-grade furnaces and ACs installed during the big construction waves are now reaching end-of-life in large numbers — which is why neighbors on the same block so often have failures the same summer.

Neighborhoods we cover: Weathersfield, Lexington Fields, the Town Square area, and the townhome and condo communities around Woodfield.

Townhome and condo HVAC — we work with your association

A big share of our Schaumburg calls come from townhome and condo communities. We repair in-unit furnaces, air handlers, and the dedicated condensers that sit on shared pads or balconies, and we're used to association rules about condenser placement, access, and noise. If your unit shares walls, we also check whether airflow restrictions — blocked returns or crushed flex duct in shared chases — are behind the poor cooling.

Airflow before parts

When the same capacitor or blower motor fails again and again, the part is not the problem. Undersized returns and crushed flex duct make equipment work harder, so we check airflow before replacing a component a second time. Related: AC not cooling enough and frozen AC coil.

Schaumburg AC repair — questions and answers

I live in a Schaumburg townhome — do you handle association rules for AC repair?

Yes. We regularly work in Schaumburg townhome and condo communities, repair in-unit equipment and shared-pad condensers, and respect association requirements for access and equipment placement.

Do you repair the builder-grade systems installed in Schaumburg's 1970s-90s developments?

Yes, and they have recognizable failure patterns. Equipment installed during Schaumburg's big construction waves tends to fail at the capacitor, the contactor and the blower motor first, and undersized return ducts make those parts work harder than they should. SAVA repairs the fault and tells you whether airflow is what shortened the part's life, because replacing the same component every other summer is not a repair.
