Chicago Appliance Repair You Can Count On

SAVA HVAC & Appliance Repair services the full range of home appliances across Chicago and North Shore suburbs. From standard brands like Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, and LG to premium Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, and Thermador equipment — we diagnose the exact fault, explain what we found in plain language, and only do the work you approve. EPA Section 608 Certified for refrigerant handling. Family-owned, 4.9-star rated.

SAVA is a family-owned appliance repair company based at 6502 W Devon Ave in Chicago, operating since 2017 and EPA Section 608 Certified for refrigerant handling. Diagnosis is $79, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. A single visit can cover several appliances at once — useful in kitchens where the refrigerator, dishwasher and range all came from different manufacturers and each needs a different diagnostic approach. Service covers Chicago and more than 60 suburbs, from Evanston and Skokie north through Wilmette, Winnetka and Highland Park, and west to Park Ridge, Arlington Heights and Schaumburg.

Appliance Repair Chicago — Frequently Asked Questions

Refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, dishwashers, and garbage disposals. All major brands (Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Maytag, Bosch) plus premium brands (Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Dacor, Monogram, Cove). $79 diagnostic fee — credited toward the repair when you proceed. Repair cost depends on the appliance type, brand, and specific fault. We walk you through what we found and explain the repair options. You decide whether to go ahead.

Same-day service is available when a technician is open in your area. Call (773) 558-3332 early in the day for the best chance of same-day scheduling. We check the schedule first and give you an arrival window.

Yes — Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Bosch, Dacor, Monogram, and Cove. Premium brands require brand-aware diagnosis and specific parts. We have hands-on experience with their proprietary control boards, communicating systems, and complex sealed-system architectures.

Yes. Built-in wall ovens, built-in refrigerators, and stackable washer/dryer units are all serviced. Built-in repairs include the labor to disconnect from cabinetry and reinstall. Stackable repairs include unstacking and re-stacking labor.

We give repair-versus-replace guidance based on the real condition and age. If replacement makes more economic sense, we tell you that — no pressure, no sales quota. Generally repair makes sense if the system is under 10 years old and the repair cost is less than 50% of replacement. We help you decide.

We don't service window or portable AC units, commercial restaurant equipment, or small countertop appliances (toasters, coffee makers, blenders, stand mixers). For HVAC we don't service oil furnaces, wood stoves, fireplaces, or standalone space heaters.

Yes. Parts and labor are covered for a defined period after the repair. Specific warranty terms are explained when you approve the work — they vary by part type and brand.
