Local Homes
Glencoe is a village of single-family houses: 91% of its roughly 3,300 homes are detached houses and 92% are owner-occupied. The typical home has nine or more rooms and was built around 1955 (Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, Community Data Snapshots 2026).
A house of that size and age has heating and cooling that was replaced or added to over the decades — sometimes two or more systems serving different floors — so it helps to say how many furnaces and air conditioners the house has when you book. Kitchen work covers built-in refrigeration, ranges, wall ovens, cooktops and dishwashers.
