1. Filter and sump: Cove's fine filtration protects the wash pump, but a neglected filter slows draining and degrades wash quality. We clear and inspect the full sump path.
2. Drain line and air gap: Improper drain-loop height, a kinked line under the sink, or a clogged air gap (common in Chicago kitchens that require one) all produce drain faults that look like a failed pump.
3. Base-pan leak detection: Like other premium dishwashers, a Cove stops the cycle when moisture reaches the base pan. We find the actual leak source — door seal, hose connection, or pump housing — rather than just drying the pan.
