Local Homes
Lakeview is one of the largest neighborhoods in Chicago, with about 62,000 homes. Half of them (50%) are in buildings with 20 or more units, about one in five are in two- to four-unit buildings, and 7% are single-family houses (Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, Community Data Snapshots 2026, Lake View community area).
That mix decides what a visit looks like. In a house, a two-flat or a small condo building we work on the furnace, central air or ductless mini-split that serves your unit, along with the kitchen and laundry appliances. In a larger building, heating and cooling shared by the whole building is usually looked after by the building's management, so the work there is mostly on the appliances inside the unit and on equipment that belongs to the unit owner. If your building has rules for service visits — a front-desk sign-in, a service elevator or set hours — tell us when you book.
